The 11th International Conference on Computer Vision and Image Processing (CVIP-2026) represents the flagship event of the CVIP conference series, focusing on advances in computer vision, image processing, and allied artificial intelligence technologies. The conference will take place from December 9–12, 2026, at the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut), Kerala, India and jointly organised with Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. CVIP-2026 provides an inclusive forum for students, researchers, academicians, industry professionals, innovators, and technologists engaged in advanced research and development in computer vision, image processing, and related imaging systems. The conference encourages the dissemination of original research, promotes scholarly discussion, and facilitates collaboration between academic institutions and industry. The event is guided by an experienced advisory and organizing committee comprising distinguished researchers from India and abroad. The *conference proceedings are planned to be published in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)* series, subject to Springer’s final approval, offering enhanced global visibility and accessibility to accepted contributions. CVIP-2026 continues to receive the endorsement of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR), reflecting the sustained quality and international relevance of the CVIP conference series in the areas of computer vision and pattern recognition. Over the years, CVIP has established itself as a well-recognized forum within the research community, currently reflected by a Google Scholar h5-index of 15. Recent editions of the conference were hosted at IIT Ropar (2025), IIITDM Kancheepuram (2024), IIT Jammu (2023), VNIT Nagpur (2022), IIT Ropar (2021, online), IIIT Allahabad (2020, online), MNIT Jaipur (2019), IIITDM Jabalpur (2018), and IIT Roorkee (2017 and 2016). All editions have been endorsed by IAPR, with proceedings published in Springer’s Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.
