Camera-Ready Submissions

Authors of papers accepted for presentation at the 11th International Conference on Computer Vision and Image Processing (CVIP 2026) are requested to prepare and submit the final camera-ready version of their manuscripts by following the instructions given below.

The proceedings of CVIP 2026 will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) or Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

The conference will be held from 9–12 December 2026 at the National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kerala, India.

The camera-ready submission must be completed through the CVIP 2026 Microsoft CMT Author Console on or before the applicable deadline.

1. Revision of the Accepted Manuscript

Authors must carefully revise their papers by addressing all comments and recommendations provided by the reviewers and meta reviewers. While preparing the final manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  • 1. All reviewer comments have been adequately addressed.
  • 2. The final manuscript does not contain highlighting, tracked changes, annotations, or comments.
  • 3. The paper is no longer anonymous and contains the complete author and affiliation details.
  • 4. Author names, affiliations, email addresses, and author order are accurate and final.
  • 5. One author is clearly identified as the corresponding author.
  • 6. ORCID identifiers should be included wherever available.
  • 7. The title and scope of the paper remain consistent with the accepted submission.
  • 8. No author may be added, removed, or reordered without obtaining prior written approval from the CVIP 2026 Program Chairs.
  • 9. All figures, tables, equations, citations, and references are correctly numbered and cross-referenced.
  • 10. The manuscript has been thoroughly checked for language, grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
  • 11. Please make sure that the similarity index of your camera-ready submission is below 20% (excluding the bibliography/references) and below 15% for single source similarities, using standard plagiarism checking software (e.g., Turnitin, etc.), before submitting the camera-ready paper.
  • 12. Papers with a similarity score greater than 20% in total and/or greater than 15% for a single source will not be included in the conference proceedings.
  • 13. Authors must carefully verify all AI-assisted content. Substantive AI-generated content, fabricated or unverifiable references, false information, plagiarism, manipulated results, or any other improper use of AI will be treated as a violation of publication ethics and may result in the paper being excluded from the proceedings.

Note: The final author information submitted through CMT must exactly match the information appearing in the camera-ready manuscript.

2. Manuscript Formatting Requirements

Authors must prepare the final manuscript strictly using the official Springer Computer Science Proceedings template (link) applicable to LNCS and CCIS publications. The following requirements must be followed:

  • The page limit for all papers is 21 pages including figures, tables, equations, references, acknowledgments, etc. Note that there are extra-page charges if the page limit exceeds 15 pages. If the final manuscript in Springer provided format exceeds 15 pages, INR 2600 or USD 40 per extra page will be charged. No paper more than 21 pages will be considered.
  • The final manuscript must be submitted in PDF format.
  • The PDF file size must not exceed 10 MB.
  • All fonts must be embedded in the PDF.
  • Only scalable fonts should be used.
  • The PDF must not contain document protection, password protection, or other security restrictions.
  • Images must not contain transparent pixels or unsupported alpha channels.
  • Line drawings, diagrams, and plots should preferably be provided as vector graphics.
  • All figures and tables must be clearly legible when printed.
  • Colour figures should also remain understandable when viewed or printed in grayscale.
  • The manuscript must not contain page numbers, conference-specific headers, or manually inserted footers.
  • The Springer template margins, fonts, heading styles, spacing, and reference style must not be modified.
  • The acknowledgement and funding information, where applicable, must be included in the final paper.

3. Files to Be Prepared

Let XXX represent the three-digit CMT paper ID. Paper IDs containing fewer than three digits must be padded with leading zeros.
For example: Paper ID 7 becomes 007, Paper ID 48 becomes 048, Paper ID 326 remains 326.
Authors must prepare the following files:

A. Final Camera-Ready Paper

The final camera-ready PDF must be named: XXX.pdf (Example: 048.pdf)
The PDF must be generated directly from the final source manuscript and carefully checked before submission.

B. Editable Source Files

The complete editable source package must be compressed into one ZIP file named: XXX.zip (Example: 048.zip)

For papers prepared using LaTeX, the ZIP package must contain:

  • Main .tex file;
  • All supporting .tex files;
  • Bibliography .bib and/or compiled .bbl files;
  • All figure and image files;
  • Any required style or class files;
  • Any supplementary files required for successful compilation; and
  • A PDF copy generated from the submitted source.

The LaTeX source must compile successfully without missing-file or missing-package errors.

For papers prepared using Microsoft Word, the ZIP package must contain:

  • Final editable .docx file;
  • Original figure files, where available;
  • Any supplementary material required for production.

Macro-enabled .docm files should not be submitted.

Note: Springer requires the final PDF together with all editable manuscript source files and associated figures, bibliography files, and supporting files.

C. Springer Nature Copyright Form

The corresponding author must complete and sign the Springer Nature Copyright form on behalf of all authors. Copyright form can be downloaded here (Word / PDF).

  • Fill the following details as per the information submitted earlier to CVIP 2026.
    First Page: Proposed title of the contribution; Author(s) Full Name(s); and Corresponding Author Name.
    Last Page: Sign the copyright form and fill the other details such as date, address, E-mail id, name, etc.
  • The paper title on the form exactly matches the final manuscript;
  • The author names are accurate and complete;
  • The form is signed by the corresponding author;
  • Permission has been obtained from all co-authors;
  • Please don't change any pre-filled information in the copyright form.
  • The completed form is clear and readable.

The signed form must be saved as: Copyright_XXX.pdf (Example: Copyright_048.pdf)

D. Response to Reviewers

Authors are strongly encouraged to submit a concise point-by-point response explaining how the reviewers’ comments have been addressed. The response file must be named: Response_XXX.pdf (Example: Response_048.pdf)

The document should contain:

  • Paper ID and paper title;
  • Reviewer comment or suggestion;
  • Author response.

4. Camera-Ready Submission Through CMT

The camera-ready files must be uploaded through the CVIP 2026 Microsoft CMT portal. Authors should follow these steps:

  • 1. Log in to the CVIP 2026 CMT portal using the account associated with the original submission.
  • 2. Open the Author Console.
  • 3. Locate the accepted paper.
  • 4. Select the Create Camera-Ready Submission or Edit Camera-Ready Submission option.
  • 5. Verify the paper title, abstract, author names, affiliations, email addresses, and author order.
  • 6. Upload the final camera-ready PDF.
  • 7. Upload the complete editable source ZIP file.
  • 8. Upload the signed Copyright Form.
  • 9. Upload the Response to Reviewers PDF, where applicable.
  • 10. Enter or verify the corresponding-author information.
  • 11. Complete all required camera-ready submission fields.
  • 12. Click Save or Submit.
  • 13. Reopen the camera-ready submission and verify that every file has been uploaded successfully.

Important: Authors should not assume that the submission is complete merely because a file has been selected. They must verify that the uploaded filenames are visible in the CMT Author Console.

Revised files may be uploaded before the deadline by using the Edit Camera-Ready Submission option. The most recently saved version at the deadline will be treated as the final submission.

5. Final Submission Checklist

Before completing the camera-ready submission, authors must confirm the following:

Manuscript

  • Reviewer comments have been addressed.
  • Springer LNCS/CCIS template has been used without modification.
  • Author names, order, affiliations, and email addresses are correct.
  • Corresponding author is clearly identified.
  • Abstract and keywords are included.
  • Figures and tables are legible and correctly referenced.
  • References are complete and consistently formatted.
  • Acknowledgements and funding details are correct.
  • No tracked changes, comments, highlighting, or anonymous placeholders remain.

PDF

  • PDF filename follows the prescribed naming convention.
  • File size does not exceed 10 MB.
  • All fonts are embedded.
  • PDF opens correctly on another computer.
  • No password or security restriction has been applied.
  • Images do not contain unsupported transparency.
  • No page numbers or manually added headers and footers are present.

Source Package

  • Editable source ZIP has been uploaded.
  • All figures, bibliography files, and supporting files are included.
  • LaTeX source compiles without errors, where applicable.
  • Microsoft Word source is provided in .docx rather than .docm format.

Publication Documentation

  • Copyright Form is complete and signed.
  • Paper title and author information on the form match the final manuscript.
  • Response to Reviewers has been prepared and uploaded, where applicable.
  • CMT metadata exactly matches the final manuscript.

6. Author Registration

At least one author of each accepted manuscript must register for the conference. Detailed information regarding registration fees, payment procedures, and deadlines will be announced shortly.
